Rules can come in written and un-written form, some are more like suggestions, and others are outright ignored. The rules on charm are often spoken with a southern accent, but in many ways acted upon in the mid-west. Festival rules are known to be written for the sake of having them to point to and not much more, but you would expect the laws of commerce to still apply. As a rule of thumb anything fried will taste better, but we learn how far this can be taken and no one is complaining. The rules of sportsmanship are unwritten, and when bent can often be pretty funny. What rules do you abide by...we will hang up our flip phones and listen for your response.
The world is full of scary things both past and present. This week we learn about the most popular podcast in America at the moment, but if they found the scary story they were looking for is still very much up for debate. We are still discovering dinosaurs that are more terrifying than we ever believed them to be. Sometimes we don't want to be open to a new experience or conversation so we pull the old my headphones are on trick, but even then you may have to hear a new take on old story. We meet another man who even after a potentially life altering tragedy manages to find a fresh outlook on life, or at least his face. Try the Lengua.
