Everybody has varying tastes, and often times the more you know the better your taste. This week we are joined by Brad Kutner the Editor of RVA Mag and Gay RVA to help expose us to some of the best and brightest in the local music scene. Whether your musical tastes lean more Hip Hop, Metal, Electronica, or somewhere in between you just may find your new local favorite. Some taste cannot be explained, and we may have found our first fan of the difficult to define Mallort. We learn a bit more about the ever changing tastes in Pizza, and discover that Brad has a very familiar Egg Nog recipe to one of the crew. Here's to expanding your knowledge of local music; even if it is only a taste of what there is to find.
It looks like the circus will no longer be making the rounds after this year so you will have to find other places to meet your friendly neighborhood protesters. If you find that you need somewhere to spend all of that money you are saving by not going to the circus Brett Favre has a handful of products you can invest in, or we can point you in the direction of even more expensive jeans. If spending all that cash doesn't help ease the pain of the big top coming down we may have found the perfect shower beer for you to try while rinsing it away.
No matter where you went this week there was a pretty good chance you were going to travel through some snow. Snow can make it difficult to travel even when you have the perfect truck for the journey. Sometimes the easy answer is to travel by sled, but when doing so on roads even that can prove to be dangerous. Other times the mission can be ruined not by the elements, but rather by a lack of attention to detail. We do learn of a new way to help improve your focus so you don't forget things, but we are not sure we are ready to commit just yet.
This week we are joined by Big Rich from The Cheats Movement Podcast and the Booze and Grooves Podcast. We discover that used tires often come with more than just a low price; sometimes the something extra is good while other times it is not. In a similar fashion we find that something as simple as Fruit Loops can be seen as a wholesome breakfast in one light, while rather un-wholesome in another. We are given an alternative to the traditional method of assisting those who cannot see for themselves, and a fool proof way to help others learn if Alzheimer's is on the horizon. Welcome to 2017 my friends, and if you see a horse in a cul-de-sac, move your car.
